Yes, I went on trips to Stonehenge, Bath and Bristol.
What are you doing now, and how do you think your study abroad experience prepared you for further study/your career?
I am currently working in the civil service as an Admin Assistant for the energy supplier of my state. I was working in my area (English teaching) since last semester for a State school to secondary students. Since my study abroad experience in Leeds I have been trying to get an international MA scholarship to pursue an academic career, but so far I haven’t been successful. But the experience in Leeds helped me a lot as teacher and professional. It also helped me build a better understanding about the British culture and the language.
Anything else to add?
Leeds has been so far, the best abroad experience of my life.
