What made you choose the University of Leeds as your study abroad destination?

Firstly, I found Britain and its culture fascinating. And then the University of Leeds happens to be in the partner list with my home university. I was also impressed by the reputation of the No.1 ranking business school.

How would you compare the academic style at the University of Leeds with Hong Kong Polytechnic University?               

At Leeds, we are required to read more and study more theoretical knowledge. But in HK, we focus more on practical skills such as computation or book recording.

How would you compare the campuses?

Leeds definitely has a larger and more beautiful campus with more nature view. My home campus was located in city centre and therefore smaller, more modern-looking and more concentrated.

Did you join any societies at Leeds?

Yes. I joined the data society.

How would you compare the city of Leeds with the local area of Hong Kong Polytechnic University?

Leeds is more beautiful and HK is more urbanised with more skyscrapers, shopping malls and various transportations (subway, ferry, bus, taxi)

What was your favourite memory of studying at the University of Leeds?

I would say the orientation week and the Halloween party.

Would you recommend Leeds to other students at Hong Kong Polytechnic University?

Yes. It is a memorable experience to live and study in a different culture and the academic style in Britain is not too different from HK so you may not face too much difficulty.
